The short version

Your fishing spots, paths, photos, and notes are your data. FishPin stores them in a private database tied to your account. We don't sell, share, or analyze your fishing locations.

What we collect

• Account: email and name (via Google or email/password sign-in).
• Pins, paths, and trip data — stored on your phone, optionally synced to your private cloud account.
• Anonymous crash reports (no personal data) to help us fix bugs.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We don't show you ads.
• We don't share your fishing spots with other users.
• We don't track your location when you're not actively recording.
