The short version
FishPin is a one-time paid navigation app for Filipino fishermen. Use it as an aid — not a replacement — for proper marine training and official equipment. You own your data and can delete your account anytime.
Use at your own risk
FishPin is a navigation aid, not a replacement for proper marine training, common sense, or official navigation equipment. Always wear a life vest, monitor weather conditions, and follow Philippine Coast Guard guidance when at sea.
Account and age
You must be at least 13 years old to use FishPin. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for anything done with your account. Only one device may be signed in at a time — signing in somewhere else automatically signs the previous device out.
Paid app
FishPin is sold as a one-time paid app on the Google Play Store. You pay the price shown on the Play Store listing before downloading, there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Purchases are processed and billed by Google Play.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its standard policy (typically full refund within 48 hours of purchase). For refund requests beyond that window, or if something goes wrong with a purchase, email us and we'll work with Google Play to make it right.
Sold as-is, no warranty
FishPin is sold "as is", without warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep it accurate and reliable, but we cannot be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from its use.
Acceptable use
Don't use FishPin for illegal fishing, poaching in protected areas, harassment, or any activity that harms marine ecosystems or other people. Don't try to reverse-engineer the app, resell access to it, or abuse the SOS feature for non-emergencies. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to violate this policy.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This wipes your pins, paths, catches, emergency contacts, and account profile from our servers and your phone. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute that can't be settled directly will be handled by the courts of the Philippines.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll bump the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use FishPin after a change means you accept the new terms.
